JBPro

JBPro is a civil engineering, surveying, planning and landscape architecture firm based in Gainesville, Florida. The company states that it was founded in 1995 and that it has provided professional services for residential, commercial and institutional projects in North and Central Florida. Its landscape architecture practice is described as serving local governments, commercial businesses and homeowners, with landscape architects and designers working on residential, municipal and commercial projects such as retail centres, industrial sites and residential neighbourhoods.

The firm describes its landscape architecture approach as beginning with the development of a sense of place, followed by the incorporation of codes, regulations and design best practices in collaboration with other design team members. Its stated scope covers soil quality, garden beds, gathering areas, walkways, irrigation and lighting, as well as site analysis, master planning, 2D and 3D visualisation, detail drawings, wayfinding and public presentations.

JBPro also states that its landscape architects remain involved after the design phase, from the first conceptual drawing through construction observation. On licensing, JBPro states that becoming a Landscape Architect in Florida requires a degree in Landscape Architecture, a four-part registration examination, the Florida Plants and Materials examination and more than a year of practical experience, and that its landscape architects are registered with the state to provide services throughout Florida.

The company lists offices in Gainesville, St. Augustine and Tallahassee, and lists NAICS code 541320 Landscape Architectural Services among its classifications.
